Tyree, Hyche & Dixon Legal looked to expand their practice to service clients in entertainment, copyrights, music publishing, record label agreements, media, and intellectual property.
With this shift, THD Legal looked to us to assist with a re-brand and accompanying campaign to attract their new target audience, creative professionals.
MAKING THE SHIFT
Attorneys have a reputation for being rigid, formal and stiff. Through extensive qualitative research, we knew to combat this, that we would have to make the firm feel more approachable, specifically to creatives.
The challenge was to re-establish the brand to be warmer, grounded and more accessible while also maintaining a level of seriousness and professionalism that is essential to the persona of legal firm.
We identified that the majority of new client acquisition was fueled through referrals,
specifically via their social media channels. So, that is where we started.
We developed a new brand strategy, with an accompanying content strategy to position THD to be received as warmer, more approachable and more accessible resource for creators and creative professionals.
The phrase "Lawyers Are Creatives Too" works to shift the perception of how creators and creative professional view attorneys, particularly at THD Legal, by driving the message that an attorney that works creatively, taking a more dynamic and innovative approach to the law, understands the passion that drives
creators and how it is necessary to preserve and encourage that passion, by legally protecting their work.
